Another Tool For Website Local Marketing

We talked about utilizing internet social properties such as Squidoo, Hubpages and Wetpaint to promote your site/keyword/sales page but there are literally thousands of similar sites and new ones pop up all the time.

The newest (to me) is Google's own Knol.com.Anytime Google owns a property do you think they will give a little (or a lot) more SEO power if you use THEIR tool?

I am testing different social bookmarking software and will let you know how that goes.
